I can't really listen to this song with out getting choked up...and that was the case before I got pregnant with #2, but not before I became a mother (as Continuum came out in '06), so I can't say that being a mother to a young boy doesn't intensify my reaction to the song. I'm moved every time I hear it. If not for the timely message, I could listen to it over and over again, but I can't because it's too heart wrenching. Still, I recommend a listen as it is a beautiful song, music and lyrics. Click the video below and check out the link to the lyrics as well.



John Mayer - Belief lyrics

I really dug John Mayer's first album, but didn't quite get into the second (I'm meaning to go back and check it out). Continuum really made me a fan (so much so, that I occasionally read his blog). I just love it and haven't gotten tired of it.
